Questions before you choose

Clear terms make better working relationships.

  • Is the subscription website free?

There is no upfront website charge with a subscription. The site is licensed to you while the subscription is paid and active, rather than transferred to you as a purchased asset.

  • How do the commitments work?

Core Basics starts with a 12-month commitment, with a 6-month option available for a $1,500 implementation fee. Full Service starts with a 6-month commitment. Both become month-to-month after the initial term. Reserved Capacity is month-to-month from the start.

  • Where do website leads go?

Core owns the path from website lead capture to delivery. A reasonable CRM integration is attempted where practical; if that is not available, leads can be delivered by email or another reliable method. Manual CRM data entry and CRM administration are not included.

  • Can a large project take longer than the estimate?

Yes. Queue timing describes routine requests and is not a guarantee. Alex will set expectations for larger work before it begins, and higher-tier work is moved forward without starving lower-tier work.

  • What does Reserved Capacity add?

Reserved Capacity includes Full Service capability plus actual reserved capacity, the highest queue priority, priority handling when something breaks, and first consideration for complex ongoing work. It is limited and does not make every custom project automatic.

  • What are some less-exciting details I should know?

All recurring plans allow unlimited queued requests. Work is handled on one active request per client at a time. Higher-priority work is regularly moved forward, while lower-tier work continues between priority requests. Turnaround times are typical expectations, not guarantees; larger work can take longer.

Unlimited means you can queue as many normal website requests as you like; there are no monthly hour, page, revision, or ticket quotas. Hillside may separately scope work that is unlawful, abusive, unrelated, technically impractical, unusually massive, or really a separate software project.

Subscription websites are licensed while the subscription is active and paid. When service ends, Hillside may unpublish the site; a separately quoted buyout may be available, but ownership is not automatic.

Normal phone, SMS, email, and AI usage associated with included services is included. Materially unusual usage may be passed through or separately billed with notice. Client-specific third-party subscriptions, licenses, connectors, or API plans remain the client's responsibility.

Website-only projects begin with a 50% deposit. A Scheduled Completion Date is set at kickoff. The remaining 50% is due on that date when Hillside has substantially completed the agreed development work.

After the Scheduled Completion Date, you have a 7-calendar-day final revision window for reasonable in-scope corrections and refinements. New features, pages, or changes of direction are separately scoped.

The production site goes live seven calendar days after the Scheduled Completion Date unless Hillside agrees to a documented schedule change. Client delays do not automatically move that date; Hillside may use available content or reasonable placeholders when final assets are missing.

Optional hosting is $50/month and starts on the Go-Live Date. It does not include subscription-plan unlimited edits, marketing management, consulting, or queue priority.

The client always owns the domain. Hillside can handle DNS and launch configuration, but the domain stays in an account the client owns and controls. Once the final 50% is paid, the client owns the completed one-time website and code whether or not they use Hillside hosting. The domain remains the client's throughout.
